Rolex GMT-Master IIは、Rolexが1955年にラインナップに加えたGMT-Masterの後継モデルです。2005年には、紫外線による退色や傷に強い素材であるCerachromセラミックベゼルインサートを初めて採用したRolexとなりました。このモデルは、Rolexが後にSubmariner、Sea-Dweller、Deepsea、Daytonaにも用いたこのインサートを備える、最もよく知られた時計のひとつです。映像のうち1本は24時間針をテーマにしており、ほかに「In Connection With the World」「A Perfect Match」と題された動画もあります。以下の動画はRolex公式チャンネルのものです。

Two versions of the Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II in Oystersteel both feature a 24-hour graduated two-colour Cerachrom bezel insert in grey and black ceramic. The first watch is fitted with an Oyster bracelet, while the second sports a Jubilee bracelet. The black lacquer dial bears the inscription ‘GMT-Master II’ in green, echoing the colour of the triangle-tipped 24-hour hand – an element that features strongly in the model’s design.
